There's a moment every vinyl lover knows. You slide a record from its sleeve, set the needle down, and hear that soft crackle before the music begins. It's not just a sound, it's a ritual. And it's one that humans have been performing, in one form or another, for nearly 150 years.

We opened Needle Drop because we believe that ritual matters.

We opened Needle Drop because we believe vinyl isn't just surviving, it's thriving, and we wanted to be part of that in our community.

Whether you're a lifelong collector or you just bought your first turntable, we're here for all of it. Come in, flip through the bins, ask us anything. This is exactly what we built this place for.

That sounded cool, but the real reason Needle Drop is open is the owner's love and passion for vinyl. He has been collecting vinyl for years. He bought his first 45 when he was 10 and that started him collecting, learning, studying vinyl for over 4 decades.

He always wanted to open a record store and he talked about it often. He had great ideas of how he'd design the store and how he'd have a diverse variety of artists and genres. That it would be a fun place to come and hang out. That he'd offer cleaning and repair and offer a place for local artists to sell their vinyl. Provide a place for artists to play live and use the NDRS stage to share their love of music.

Well, everything seemed to fall into place and his dream is now a reality.

Come in and check us out. Vinyl has made a HUGE comeback. It outsold CDs in 2025 7 to 1. Made over a billion dollars in sales, and the kids are helping as they are realizing the difference in the sound quality of a download or a CD. They like hearing their artist in that raw, pure sound that only vinyl can provide.

Needle Drop wants to offer you the best prices on new and used vinyl. We also want to make sure we also have the cleanest vinyl and store. We inspect and clean almost every used record.

If you don't see a record you want we will do our very best to find it. If it's new vinyl we can order it.
